Clive Daniel Home designers
from its Boca Raton location
recently received awards from the ASID Florida South and the Gold Coast
Builders Association (GCBA) for design excellence.
During
their 2021 Design Excellence Awards, the ASID Florida South Chapter
awarded Clive Daniel Home interior designer Lisa Nieves their Show House/Model
1st Place Award for the model she designed at Surfsedge in Vero Beach.
She worked with the Lutgert Companies on the home from start to finish
and created a design that mixes traditional Vero Beach style with modern
clean lines and family-friendly features.

“As
a past President of the Florida South Chapter ASID, which is one of the
largest of the 42 chapters across the United States, I know what goes into
creating this Awards program,” said Nieves. “Judges are chosen from different
state chapters, so these entries are judged by our peers. Being told my
work is award-winning by fellow designers—who understand firsthand what
goes into creating a cohesive and attractive design—is a huge honor.”
At
the GCBA’s annual Prism Awards, interior designer Michael Blum was
given the 2021 Silver Prism Award for Full-Service Residential
Interior Design in recognition of a private residence he designed in
Delray Beach. His overall design for the home was elegant and timeless,
and reflective of the special attention that Blum puts into each detail
of his projects—from the beautiful faux finished walls and hand-knotted
area rugs to the custom drapes and unique art.
Both
the ASID’s Design Excellence Awards and the GCBA’s Prism Awards
celebrate projects that demonstrate the highest level of achievement within
interior design. “We are grateful for the recognition these awards have
