Upscale Poolside Enhancements Coming to The Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake

| Geneva-on-the-Lake, OH – April 2021 / Newsmaker Alert / This summer, The Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake will take the Ohio Wine Country Resort’s lakeside experience to a new level with significant poolside enhancements. Scheduled to be completed by July 4, new poolside features include the addition of Erie Breeze, an outdoor food and beverage pavilion, expanded seating, outdoor games, large rectangular fire pit and indoor pool open air feature.

“The Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake has continued to cultivate the resort experience for our guests. As one of the top regional getaways, the poolside enhancements add to our get-away-from-it-all lakeside destination,” said The Lodge General Manager Charlene Horgan.

New poolside features

This summer, guests will find new ways to relax poolside with:

Erie Breeze, an outdoor food and beverage pavilion
Expanded fenced-in poolside area
Large rectangular masonry fire pit

Outdoor games, including:

Giant chessboard with supersized chess pieces
Bocce ball
Shuffleboard
New hydraulic door that opens the indoor pool deck to the outdoor pool deck during the warmer months

Funding for Pool Deck Expansion
“The pool deck expansion project is being funded entirely by resort/amenity funds that are paid by the guests that stay at The Lodge,” noted Horgan. “This fee was implemented in May 2015. Each night a guest stays at The Lodge, they are charged a fee for the use of the hotel’s amenities, such as bicycles, cross country skis, snowshoes, etc. This fee is used solely for the design, development, construction, implementation and maintenance of Guest Experience Improvements.”
