are excited to offer our guests a new TA Express location in Georgia and
are proud to be part of the economic development of the greater Statesboro
area,” said Jon Pertchik, Chief Executive Officer of TA. “Completion of
the site will mark another successful step in the TA transformation plan,
as it will expand our network, feature our new site design centered on
the guest experience and provide the flexibility to embrace our future
expansion into alternative energy.”
“We are thrilled to have TravelCenters of America coming to Bulloch County,” said Roy Thompson, Bulloch County Commission Chair. “The TA Express will be a great place to stop for fuel and food for Interstate 16 travelers and will help kick off development at our Highway 301 interchange.” TA Express Statesboro will feature TA’s recently unveiled new travel center design concepts including improved signage, new store flow, modern restrooms and showers, and lighting fixtures, flooring and paint which create a welcoming atmosphere. As TA continues expanding its footprint, adding new sites and implementing upgrades at its existing locations nationwide, guests will start to see and feel a more engaging and consistent travel center experience. The site will have a TA Truck Service center and offer diesel and gasoline, truck and car parking, a Burger King, as well as a large variety of snacks, hot and cold beverages, showers, laundry facilities and other amenities for both professional drivers and motorists. A groundbreaking celebration was held at the site, which is expected to open in late 2022. About
