“I couldn’t be more excited to work with OB Sports and the great team here at Moffett. I am privileged to lead the operation and I look forward to taking Moffett to another level and showcasing the Bay Area’s best kept golf secret,” said Williams. Williams is a graduate of Holy Names University in Oakland, Calif. from which he holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management, and a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration on finance and leadership. In 2018, Williams served as the assistant golf coach for the university’s men’s and women’s golf teams. Moffett Field Golf Course opened in 1959; and in a twist of irony, the original, very-flat course was named the Hill Course in honor of Captain Arthur S. Hill, the Commanding Officer at Moffett when the facility opened in 1959. Designed by Bob E. Baldock, the course began as a nine-hole venue before expansion to 18 holes ten years later. In 2007, improvements were made to recontour terrain, add partial concrete car paths, bunker restoration and greens modification. The course remains at par 72, playing to a maximum of 6,572 yards. The Golf Club at Moffett Field is managed by OB Sports, a Troon® company. For more information on The Golf Club at Moffett Field, visit www.MmoffettGolf.com or call 650-386-0720. About
