A Great Big World share the Chevy
Court stage at 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, Acting Fair Director Troy
Waffner has announced.
Boston native Platten was
on every radio and music player with her 2015 single “Fight Song.” She
followed it up with “Stand By You,” which also hit the charts. She earned
a Daytime Emmy for her performance of “Fight Song” on ABC’s “Good Morning
America” and a “Best Lyrics” award from the iHeartRadio music awards.
A Great Big World is Ian
Axel and Chad King, whose breakout song, “This Is The New Year,” was featured
in an episode of “Glee.” Their next single, “Say Something,” became a worldwide
hit after it was re-recorded with Christina Aguilera and performed on “The
Voice” and “The American Music Awards.” The song has now sold over 6 million
copies worldwide. A Great Big World returned in 2015 with their second
album, “When The Morning Comes,” featuring the current radio single “Won’t
Stop Running.”
The third group on tour with
Platten and A Great Big World, Ithaca’s X Ambassadors, performs at 2 p.m.

this date on their calendars. This is a terrific addition to the best lineup
in Chevy Court’s history,” said Waffner.

Chevy Court’s 23 free shows
are part of the Fair’s commitment to providing the best and most diverse
lineup of music available. Each year, the Fair and its vendors provide
