Back To News/PR Index | ARC Data Shows Decrease in Airline Ticket Sales for September 2017 | Tool Enhancements Mark Major Debit Memo Working Group Milestone | The consolidated dollar value of airline tickets sold by U.S.-based travel agencies decreased 1.3 percent in September as compared to September 2016, totaling $7 billion vs. $7.1 billion. The number of passenger trips* settled by ARC for U.S. travel agencies also decreased 1.2 percent to 21,492,539 compared to 21,753,323 in September 2016. Electronic Miscellaneous Document (EMD)** sales in September 2017 comprised almost $5.3 million, a nearly 8 percent decrease over September 2016.
