C.A.R.E. in Seattle, Washington - 59th Semi-Annual Conference

Harrisonburg,
VA – August 2014 / Newsmaker Alert / Registration is now open for C.A.R.E.’s
59th Semi-Annual Conference at the Renaissance Seattle Hotel from October
18-21, 2014. All resort & travel professionals are invited to register
for the most value-packed, industry- based, networking event of the year!
If you are not a member of C.A.R.E.
our first question would be…why? No worries, we have attendance opportunities
for you too so you should come see what all the C.A.R.E. buzz is about!
The
conference host city of Seattle will offer exciting nightlife, beautiful
scenery, illuminating skylines and lots of shopping. Those who are more
nostalgic could prefer to visit the famous Pike Place Market or the original
Starbucks. More importantly the Fall 2014 Conference will be packed full
of educational and networking opportunities. C.A.R.E. Keynote Speaker,
Doug Kennedy of Kennedy Training Center will guide attendees on “Servicing
the Over-Informed Travel Consumer”.

C.A.R.E.’s
59th Semi-Annual Conference (October 18-21, 2014)

The
social event of the year might just be C.A.R.E.’s Spooktacular Evening
of Recognition that will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2014. Attendees
will be encouraged to wear their most original Halloween costumes and try
to earn one of the top prizes as C.A.R.E. has planned an evening of fun,
food and dancing while saying thanks to conference sponsors.
Typically
the conference concludes with the traditional “C.A.R.E. Gives Back” volunteer
event but in Seattle, C.A.R.E. will be giving back to the community before
the conference starts by joining forces with 450 other volunteers to restore
the West Duwamish Greenbelt. Volunteers will be working with EarthCorps,
Nature Consortium and the Duwamish Alive Coalition to plant trees and shrubs
in area.
C.A.R.E.’s
60th Semi-Annual Conference will be held at The Westin Annapolis from May
2-5, 2015.
