C.A.R.E.’s
Fall Conference in Denver to
Offer
Educational and Networking Opportunities for All
|
Harrisonburg,
VA – August 2015 / Newsmaker Alert / C.A.R.E.,
the vacation industry’s premier trade association, will hold its 61st
conference at the Westin Denver Downtown, Denver, Colorado from September
26-29, 2015.
C.A.R.E.
will continue to celebrate its 30th year in the “Mile High” city by offering
its members and attendees numerous networking and educational opportunities.
Before the conference officially begins, C.A.R.E.’s signature volunteer
event, C.A.R.E. Gives Back, will be held at The Washington Street Community
Center. Volunteers will clean the inter-generational community center’s
playground, organize and clean classrooms and spruce up the garden area.
Educational
events include a panel discussion “Know Your Customer, Know Your Guest”
moderated by Don Killingback, Endless Vacation Rentals, that will focus
on the evolution and emerging trends in travel, the importance of being
on the cutting edge of technology and value of personalized and concierge
services. According to Killingback “In the fast moving travel environment
the importance of understanding AND delivering on the needs, desires of
today’s travelers is critical to retaining and expanding customer bases.”
Paul Mattimoe, Perspective Group and C.A.R.E. Advisory Board Member, will
lead the discussion “Customer Engagement through Social Media” in
which a selection of engagement ideas, channels and services that expand
beyond Facebook will be presented. NFL Superstar and former Denver Bronco,
Mark Jackson, will present the keynote session and will share the principals
of teamwork that apply not only to sports, but to life in general.
C.A.R.E.
is famous for its networking events and there will be an abundance of networking
opportunities in Denver. The conference will begin with its always popular
Speed
Networking event. Resort Travel & Xchange has been the exclusive

in C.A.R.E.’s private suite at Coors Field to enjoy the Colorado Rockies
