Announces PowerSolutions National Conference

for February 2019 at National Harbor, Maryland

The event builds on
the success of CCRA’s PowerSolutons Live regional event
|
series held each year
around the globe. This will be CCRA’s first multi-day conference
|
focused on the needs
of travel agency business owners.

Fort
Worth, TX – June 2018 / Newsmaker Alert / CCRA
announces the launch of a brand new
travel industry conference focused on the unique needs of today’s travel
agency business owner. With content tailored for travel agency owners who
are both in pursuit of their own independent accreditation and those who
are well established with TRUE, ARC, IATA or CLIA, attendees to the PowerSolutions
National Conference will be able to customize their experience and
choose from an array of business-focused sessions.
The
conference is scheduled for February 7-9, 2019 at the Gaylord National
Resort and Convention Center, at National Harbor, Maryland.

“CCRA
serves a diverse set of travel agency businesses with different needs.
We wanted to create an environment where all of our agency customers can
network, learn from one another and then focus on the specific areas they
need training and education on based on where they are in their professional
development and strategic plan,” said Dic Marxen, President & CEO of
CCRA.
Registration
for the event is $149 for travel agents. This includes 3 jam-packed days
full of education and networking opportunities, evening receptions, and
powerful sessions hosted by industry executives and non-industry celebrities.
Sessions
will focus on sales and marketing training, legal and data protection strategies,
education on dealing with emergency situations, insurance issues for agents,
selling groups, complex itineraries, building supplier partnerships, commission
negotiations, and more. Agents will have a choice in educational tracks
based on their experience level and business needs. Both tracks require
an accreditation.
Kevin
Harrington, one of the original Sharks on Shark Tank as well as a reknown
entrepreneur and business innovator has signed on to give a keynote address
focused on innovation and building a successful business.

speaker will bring her groundbreaking program to the stage;

Basketball Coach Murry Garvin will power up the crowd with his take
on what it means to be a leader in today’s environment;

influencer and journalist Kelly Blanco of NBC6 South Florida will
also be on hand to educate and empower travel agents’ communication strategies;

Hospitality
expert, former editor-in-chief of Ocean Drive Magazine, and current head
of Miami branding agency The Tag Experience, Jared Shapiro will
host several key sessions on blogging, advertising and marketing your luxury
business;

Travvy
Award Winner and renown travel agent powerhouse Tammy Levent will
speak with agents about selling luxury up against short-term rentals and
other industry disruptors;

Former
head of Trafalgar and Brendan Vacations and current President of Partner
Learning Solutions, Paul Wiseman, will also join PowerSolutions National
to bring a wealth of education on knowing your customers, navigating through
a changing marketplace, and even a special session for suppliers on building
marketing strategies with agents that work.

Matthew
David, renown sales coach and CEO of Growology will emcee the event
alongside famed corporate entertainer and mentalist Denny Corby.
CCRA has
also partnered with several travel industry partners to provide additional
opportunities for attendees to grow their businesses.CCRA has invested
significantly in a number of scholarships being made available via The
Travel Institute, who will be offering 50% off of their CTA or CTC programs,
as well as a waived application fee for those registered to attend PowerSolutions
National. Interested agents must purchase their scholarship prior to July
31st, 2018.
The
event will feature several evening functions, beginning with FirstNight
at PS National featuring an array of global culinary and cultural experiences
for attendees to enjoy, an 80s night featuring the country’s best 80s cover
band and culminating with a black tie gala and awards dinner on Saturday
night the 9th.
The
event is set to welcome more than 500 travel agencies and 200 suppliers
