Nancy Woodhouse IDS, Clive Daniel Home’s VP of Hospitality, Design & Business Development, and Interior Designer Beth Kafka are guiding the design improvements. The design duo will provide all aspects of design specifications and furnishings for the two-story, 28,000-square-foot clubhouse with a 145-seat dining room and The Sports Club. Developed by WCI Communities, the stunning clubhouse features a panoramic dining room with curved windows overlooking the 18th fairway.

“While retaining the clubhouse’s grand architectural features, we will remove heavy ornamental elements in the building and transform it into a more timeless, transitional design. The improvements will enhance the overall appeal of each area and ensure comfort and style that will appeal to current and potential members and their guest for years to come,” said Woodhouse.

Added design professional Kafka, “We are creating a dramatic contrast with a fresh color palette with richly accented architectural details. The furnishings and artwork help to develop a lighter, more transitional feel throughout with metallic and textural wall applications. Understated areas will have more meaning and function, with a natural flow and ease through the main floor. With expanded seating, the refreshed bar/lounge area and enhanced dining room will create inviting and elegant spaces with their own unique identities that still relate to one another.”

Overlooking the 18th hole of the Jerry Pate-designed championship golf course and directly adjacent to the Golf & Country Club, the Sports Club offers tennis courts, a fitness center, men’s and women’s locker rooms, pool, hot tub and full-service spa. Improvements will include new causal indoor seating, as well as covered outdoor seating under a new awning.
