Clive
Daniel Home, the Naples, Florida, premier home furnishings retailer,
was named the top winner in the Collier Building Industry Association’s
(CBIA) Sand Dollar Awards competition, leading in the “win” category
with a total of 17 awards for design excellence as well as recognition
for their marketing and advertising expertise. The CBIA competition honors
the area’s building and design community.
The
high-end furniture retailer also won the coveted Best Showroom award
for the third consecutive year. Commented Daniel Lubner, President of Clive

Interior
Designers C. Chad Elkins, ASLA and Michael Hayes were winners in the Best
Flooring in the $30,000-$50,000 category for their design work on the
Aqua private residence.

Interior
Designer Robert Isbell won the top award for the Best Master Suite Above
$100,000 for the Lausanne private residence.

Interior
Designers John Tweet and Tina Spaulding were selected for the Best Kitchen
Design Under $50,000 for their renovation of a Port Royal private residence.

Daniel Home walked away with five awards in the category of Interior
Design of the Year – Single Family Detached Homes:

Interior
Designers Michael Hayes and Susan Petril were honored for their work on
the Montessa model in the $800,000 to $899,999 category.

Interior
Designer Kelley Bridwell took the top award for her Mustique of Olde Naples
model in the $1,500 to $1,749,999 category.

Wilfredo
Emanuel and Susan Petril were winners in the $1,750,000 to $1,999,999 range
for their interiors for Foresite Homes.

Interior
Designer duo Michael Scott, IDS, Allied ASID, and Thomas Riker took home
the trophy for their work on the Johnson residence in the $2,000,000 to
$2,499,999 category.

Susie
Petril and Wilfredo Emanuel won in the $2,000 to $2,499,999 design category
for their work on the Foresite Homes project.
In the
Interior
Design of the Year Single Family Attached Homes category, interior
designers Thomas Riker and Michael Scott IDS, Allied ASID were honored
for their work on the Lakewood project $300,00 to $399,999.
Also
working as a design team, veteran Interior Designers Wilfredo Emanuel and
Ann Del Pero were named Interior Design of the Year for a Multi-Family
Detached Home in the $600,000 to $5699,999 category at the Mercato
in Naples.
Clive
Daniel Home Interior Designer Nancy Woodhouse received the Best Rendering
award for her rendering of the Bonita Clubhouse.
Clive
Daniel Home’s in-house advertising department received multiple Sand
Dollar Awards for their advertising and marketing efforts including
the Marketing Director of the Year award, won by Jo Carter, Director
of Business Development. Other marketing awards were bestowed on the company
for Best Social Media Marketing, Best Magazine Ad, Best
Direct Mail and the top marketing award for Best Overall Campaign
for an Associate Member.

The
85,000 square-foot flagship Clive Daniel Home showroom (www.CliveDaniel.com),
located on U.S. 41 in Naples, opened in November 2011 by innovative retailers
Clive and Daniel Lubner. The award-winning showroom encompasses more than
130 visual displays, boutiques and lifestyle galleries, including flooring,
millwork, custom doors and hardware, custom upholstery and window treatments.
There is also a lighting gallery, linen shop, heirloom rug gallery, and
a gift boutique.
The
Sand
Dollar Awards are presented each year by the Sales and Marketing Council
(SMC) of the Collier Building Industry Association (CBIA), to member builders,
developers, architects, remodelers, interior design firms, marketing, sales
and/or advertising professionals who have demonstrated building, design
and marketing excellence in the Collier County Area. CBIA operates under
the auspices of the Florida Home Builders Association and the National
Association of Home builders. This year’s competition culminated with an
Awards Gala held in Naples at the Ritz Carlton Tiberon on September 27,
attended by hundreds of industry leaders.
