“Lisa” Nieves, Allied ASID, an interior designer with Clive
Daniel Home of Boca Raton, was recently sworn in as an At Large Director
with the ASID Florida South Chapter Board of Directors. Nieves will begin
to serve a second year of a two-year term. In her board role, she will
assist members with ethics, planning events, and legislative education.

native of the Fort Lauderdale area, Lisa received her Bachelor’s degree
in Interior Design, graduating with honors from the Art Institute of Fort
Lauderdale. Her experience includes 10 years as professional designer,
coordinating contract projects at 4141 Design in the Miami Design District,
responsible for major installations in the South Florida area. She was
formerly the in-house designer at Concepto Modern Living, the first and
largest Calligaris studio in Florida.
Lisa
enjoys volunteering with her local chapter of ASID and is honored to be
on the board helping other members, be it students, industry partners,
profession and allied members. At Clive Daniel Home Lisa assists her clients
to plan beautiful spaces, whether the project is new construction, a remodel,
or updating an existing space.
In
the design industry, there are multiple professional designations for interior
designers. An Interior Designer benefits from education through an accredited
institution while a Design Consultant may not have any college credentials
in interior design. Allied ASID members have completed courses in interior
design from an accredited institution.
The
prestigious ASID appellation indicates professional membership in the American
Society of Interior Designers. Members are qualified by education and many
years of experience.
Located
at 1351 NW Boca Raton Blvd., the 70,000-square-foot $12 million Clive Daniel
Home showroom opened in June 2015 and employs about 65, including 26 professional

opened in 2011.
