Yosemite’s Badger Pass Ski Area Offers Free Skiing to
Fourth Grade Students Through Every Kid in a Park Initiative

Every Kid in a Park is a White House youth initiative offering free access to
national parks and other public lands for all fourth grade students and their families
|
Yosemite National Park, CA – November 2015 / Newsmaker Alert / Badger Pass Ski Area, located in Yosemite National Park, announces it will offer free skiing to fourth grade students who complete and present their Every Kid in a Park pass, which is an initiative launched by President Obama to encourage youth and their families to visit public lands by offering free entry to Yosemite National Park and other public lands. The Badger Pass Ski Area Every Kid in a Park offer includes a free lift ticket for the fourth graders and a 25% discount towards equipment rentals and lift tickets for their family members. The Every Kid in a Park offer at Badger Pass Ski Area is valid through February 29, 2016.

Badger Pass Ski Area opened in 1935 and it is known as one of the best ski destinations in California for families. With 10 slope runs and five convenient lifts, families can experience a winter getaway in Yosemite National Park with memorable and fun-filled activities including skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing and snow tubing.

Badger Pass Ski Area is scheduled to open December 11, 2015 conditions permitting. The ski area received two feet of snow from the last two storms. Season passes and discounted ski and lodging packages are available at www.BadgerPass.com.
