Lakes Gaming & Racetrack (FLGR) officials announced Monday (June
30) that national recording artists Montgomery Gentry will be added to
the concert line-up headlining a paid admission show on Wednesday, July
30.
| Montgomery Gentry is the second act to be added to this summer’s series with Big & Rich already scheduled for Wednesday, July 16. Seating for both concerts be general admission only and tickets are now available on TicketFly.com or at Finger Lakes Gaming & Racetrack for $12, with day of show pricing set at $17. A total of 6,500 tickets will be available for both shows. Doors are set to open at 6:30 p.m., with an opening act taking the stage at 7:00 p.m. Kentucky natives, Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry, make up the country music duo Montgomery Gentry. Winning three awards in 2000, including the AMA (Amercian Music Award) Favorite New Country Artist, ACM (Academy of Country Music) Top New Vocal Duo, and CMA (Country Music Association)Vocal Duo of the Year, Montgomery Gentry was also inducted into the Grand Old Opry in 2009. With three platinum certified albums, and fourteen Top 10 singles on the country charts, the group has five #1 singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart including “If You Ever Stop Loving Me”, “Something to Be Proud Of”, “Lucky Man” and “Roll with Me”. With eight albums already produced, the duo is working on releasing their ninth album due out later this year. FLGR is also bringing back its pre-concert “Tailgate Zone” where concert goers age 21-and-over for an additional $15 can get the evening started with an all you can eat picnic dinner, live entertainment and early admission to the concert area before other ticket holders. Tailgate Zone admission is only purchased the day of the show beginning at 4 p.m. The concerts will be held outdoors, rain or shine, with seating available in the covered Grandstand.
