Prime Burger, in particular, has become a favorite for commuters with its guarantee of serving a fresh-quality burger in 8 minutes or less.

“Magicgoal is an exciting acquisition for us as it marks our intention to develop very high-quality proprietary brands and further innovate our existing operation,” said Doug Tetley, managing director of Delaware North’s UK business. “The Magicgoal portfolio complements our footprint in UK travel hubs and gives us an excellent base to deliver new concepts and formats in our stadia, exhibition centres, and visitor attraction markets.”

In the UK, Delaware North operates food and beverage services at several high-profile sporting venues – including Wembley Stadium, Emirates Stadium and London Stadium – along with airport restaurants at Heathrow, London Luton, Glasgow and Edinburgh airports, among others.

“We’ve been an independent business for nearly 15 years, and we’re proud of the difference we have made in the quality quick-service sector, the first premium burger brand to operate in a UK station,” Tame said.

“Being part of the Delaware North UK family means we will have more resources to continue to bring very good quality food to busy people on the move. It is an honor to be invited to join the U.K. team, and to become part of a multinational company that shares our vision to always put the customer at the heart of everything we do.”
