Elite
Meetings Magazine Celebrates a Successful Decade
with
a Special, Redesigned 10th Anniversary Edition
|
Santa
Barbara, CA – June 2015 / Newsmaker Alert / Elite
Meetings International (EMI), recently acquired by Cvent, Inc., will
commemorate its first decade in print with a special 10th anniversary edition
of Elite Meetings magazine in 2016. Plans for the publication include
a complete redesign and enhanced content by an expanded pool of industry-savvy
writers. In addition, more emphasis will be placed on covering the latest
trends and vital issues within the hospitality business, including Q&A’s
with industry insiders and in-depth coverage of memorable group destinations.
In
an effort to create the most comprehensive guidebook for meetings professionals
worldwide, both Platinum and Gold Elite-Certified hotels and resorts will
be showcased in the same issue of Elite Meetings magazine. The magazine’s
distribution will be increased to 50,000 direct buyers and will continue
to be distributed through newsstand, subscription, online sales and industry
events.
“We’re
already seeing a great deal of excitement surrounding this issue and its
cover-to-cover redesign,” says Kelly Foy, general manager of Elite Meetings
International. “Our parent company, Cvent, has been incredibly supportive
of our plans to enhance the magazine and produce an issue that’s sure to
be widely read and highly regarded as an indispensable resource. Elite
Platinum and Gold Certified hotels represent the top 4% of hotels around
the world for meeting and incentive groups, and this milestone issue will
feature a great collection of them, making this an issue planners will
definitely want to read.”
Editor
Susan Campbell says, “We plan to create a much more visual experience that
complements insightful articles on trends, destinations, and of course,
amazing venues for meetings and incentives.” She describes the new look
as “inspirational and contemporary, hip and high-quality.”
Foy
further explains, “Since the first issue in 2007, our focus has always
been to showcase top hotels and resorts for meetings, events and incentives.
Now, 10 issues later, we are looking to reinvent ourselves while keeping
with our original goal to make the meeting planner’s job easier and save
them time.”
The
10th anniversary edition of Elite Meetings will be available in
print and digital format in January 2016. For more information, visit www.EliteMeetings.com.
