Back To News/PR Index | | Bread Bowls Are Back at Farmer Boys || "We are excited to bring back this guest favorite for the seventh year. Bread bowls capture our brand essence by providing a delectable and hearty product made using the highest quality ingredients," said Kristy Foster, Farmer Boys' director of R&D and Purchasing. Farmer Boys bread bowls are
made with La Brea Bakery half-pound country white sourdough rounds – free
of additives and preservatives. The mildly tart sourdough 'bowls' pair
perfectly with Farmer Boys' Boston Clam Chowder, the new Broccoli Cheddar
soup and famous meaty chili. The Farmer Boys recipe for chili has not changed
since the first restaurant opened in 1981 and contains a proprietary blend
of spices and 100% pure chunky beef.
Originally introduced in 2008, these seasonal favorites have returned annually due to customer demand. This year, after receiving various requests, the company added a rich cheddar and parmesan broccoli soup. "At Farmer Boys we work hard to make our guests feel at home with fresh food cooked to order in a welcoming and friendly environment, "says Karen Eadon, Farmer Boys' chief marketing officer. "This season is no exception. We'll serve up a warm and delicious bread bowl for anyone looking for a respite from their busy day. The bread bowls will be available at all Farmer Boys locations through early March. Enjoy them while they are here." About Farmer Boys
