Back To News/PR Index | | First Watch Restaurant to Open in Muddy Branch | “Daytime Café” announces plans for expansion in Maryland | “As we look for areas to expand our First Watch presence, Muddy Branch, with its small town charm and deep history, was a natural fit for our local, neighborhood feel,” said Chris Tomasso, chief marketing officer for First Watch. “We look forward to bringing our fresh approach to Breakfast, Brunch and Lunch to this vibrant area and to becoming a family tradition in the community.” The new First Watch will be located at 802 Muddy Branch Road and occupy an end-cap space within Muddy Branch Square. The 3,900-square-foot restaurant will feature a patio for outdoor dining in the Giant Food-anchored center. The new restaurant’s design will accentuate an open-kitchen concept, which reinforces First Watch’s honest approach to fresh food preparation. All menu items are freshly prepared to order and the restaurant does not use deep fryers or heat lamps. First Watch takes freshness to heart starting each day cutting fresh fruit and vegetables, making items like French toast, crepe batter, granola and salsa from scratch, roasting vegetables in-house daily and offering 100% fresh-squeezed Orange Juice. First Watch also looks to locally source produce whenever possible. In addition to serving unique and fresh entrées, First Watch offers its exclusive Sunrise Select® Premium Blend Coffee. The special blend is made from slow-roasted, hand-selected, high-grown coffee beans from mountains across the Americas.
