New York, NY – June 2015 / Newsmaker Alert / As it continues in its global expansion in service and support for the luxury hotel community worldwide, Forbes Travel Guide announced the appointment of luxury hospitality veteran, Jennifer Kane McGee, as Vice President, Client Services. She reports to Peter Kressaty, Forbes Travel Guide’s Senior Vice President of Client Services.

She will drive the company’s client service program in North America, interfacing with some of the finest hoteliers on the continent to further expand Forbes Travel Guide’s global star ratings support initiatives. Jennifer Kane McGee began her career at Hyatt International Hotels, and subsequently served in management positions at brands such as Four Seasons, Mandarin Oriental, Ian Schrager, and then Langham. Kane McGee was a Director of Sales during the opening and ramp up of Gramercy Park Hotel and The Surrey New York, respectively. Kane McGee earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Dayton, and is active in a wide variety of civic and philanthropic organizations.

Forbes Travel guide recently announced the launch of its London office and Chris Fradin as its new Vice President for Client Services in Europe. It announced a push into Latin America in 2014, with the addition of Lourdes Hanlin as Vice President of Client Services for the region, and the expansion of its star ratings system to Mexico, The Caribbean, and key markets in Argentina and Brazil. It also announced its first star rated hotels in Bangkok, Thailand, Guangzhou, China, and Tokyo, Japan.

In February, Forbes Travel Guide released its annual list of top rated hotels, restaurants and spas for 2015, recognizing hundreds of Five-Star, Four-Star and Recommended properties in the markets it rates — the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Costa Rica, London, Beijing, Hong Kong, Macau, Shanghai, Tokyo, Bangkok, Singapore and Guangzhou.
