State Contract Furnishings Completes Christie Lodge Refurbishment

State Contract Furnishings (GScf) a provider of quality furnishings
to the hospitality and resort industry for more than twenty years has fully
completed the refurbishment of The Christie Lodge located in The Vail Valley
in Avon, Colorado. The work encompassed 280 one and three bedroom condo-suites.
GScf was responsible for the design and design implementation, ordering,
delivery to the resort and installation.
According
to Jim Mirabella, President of GScf Furnishings, the project “set out to
use as many American made products as possible. This was from both an ethical
and quality point of view.”
All
case goods were made in Indiana; upholstered seating was manufactured entirely
in Virginia; carpet was manufactured in Georgia; bedding and window treatments
were manufactured in Wisconsin and mattresses were made in Colorado.

really like the end result,” said Lisa Siegert-Free. “GScf Furnishings
used its whole team to get the job done in a timely, cost-effective manner.
The fact that they were able to oversee the project from Design Concept
through completion made the situation simple and efficient overall. Not
only do the color and clean lines give Christie a far more timeless look,
the people from the company were always available throughout the process.
If there were any challenges they always had someone available to solve
the problem. This coordination truly minimized resort downtime and produced
excellent results.”
Mirabella

Furnishings has recently completed projects at Palm Springs Tennis Club
and San Clemente Inn. It currently has projects underway at Gaslamp Plaza
Suites (San Diego) and Laguna Shores (Laguna Beach).
