Hospitality Design and Consulting Firm Welcomes the
New Year with World-Class Projects and a Revitalized Website

Chicago, IL – January 2016 / Newsmaker Alert / 2015 was a highly prolific year for The Gettys Group, a global leader in the hospitality industry. With its signature blend of ingenuity and initiative, the firm completed more than 100 hotel projects last year, translating to approximately 25,000 guestrooms and countless public spaces, all deftly designed for travelers to make a thoughtful, authentic connection to their destination.

“We celebrated many successes in 2015,” noted The Gettys Group Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Roger Hill. “Our global reach was further established through innovative projects that showcased our firm’s forward-thinking approach, energetic attitude and dedication to creating unforgettable moments.”

Working fluidly between its four business groups (Interior Design, Consulting, Branding and Procurement) Gettys contributed its vast knowledge to a number of high-profile projects. The AC Hotel, the Motor Club - Hampton Inn and the Renaissance Hotel in the firm’s hometown of Chicago were all completed in 2015, as well as the Cordis Hong Kong at Langham Place, the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista in Orlando, the Hotel RL in Baltimore and The Charmant in LaCrosse, Wisc.

With offices in Miami, Hong Kong, Manila, Jeddah and Dubai in addition to its Chicago headquarters, The Gettys Group is globally positioned to shape hospitality trends around the world. This multicultural sensibility is illustrated in its national and international projects such as the Hard Rock Punta Cana and the Peninsula Hong Kong, as well as the upcoming LondonHouse in Chicago, The Godfrey Boston, Autograph Playa Largo in Key Largo, Fla., and the Olaya Hotel in Saudi Arabia.

“As we seek out and take on new projects across the globe and add new members to our growing team, 2016 looks to be our most productive year yet,” stated The Gettys Group President and Chief Operating Officer Andrew Fay. “We’re using that excitement and energy to enhance each of our new endeavors.”

2015 brought an array of accolades for these rewarding ventures, including a Marriott Renovation of the Year award for the Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel, as well as the distinction as a top interior design firm by The Network of Executive Women in Hospitality. The Gettys Group was also named one of Interior Design magazine’s “75 Giants,” identifying it as a hospitality design, consulting, branding and procurement firm to watch.

The new year also ushers in a new look and feel to The Gettys Group’s website: www.gettys.com. Reflective of the firm’s vitality, agility and attention to detail, the new site showcases The Gettys Group’s expertise, work and vision by celebrating the key areas that make the firm unique: an unparalleled multi-service program, global perspective and purposeful design solutions in a freshly designed, user-friendly platform.
