Back To News/PR Index | Grand Pacific Resorts Partners with League to Save Lake Tahoe to Keep Tahoe Blue | Environmental Advocacy Group in Receives $1,200 from Timeshare Management Company to Support Restoration of Lake Tahoe | “Preserving this beautiful area is important to us, our owners, and our guests,” explained Renee Wagner, RRP, Director of Marketing at Grand Pacific Resorts, “They come to our resorts in Tahoe to relax in the spacious suites. But they also come here to explore the great outdoors—to take the kids for a hike in the mountains, to cruise the lake on a stand up paddleboard. It’s important that we preserve those experiences for the next generation. That’s why Grand Pacific Resorts is proud to present Keep Tahoe Blue with this donation. It serves as recognition of and support for the work they are doing to protect the area.” Wagner presented the check to Darcie Goodman Collins, PhD, the League’s Executive Director, on the 400-foot private beach at Tahoe Beach & Ski Club, a resort managed by Grand Pacific Resort in South Lake Tahoe, California. Grand Pacific Resorts also manages Red Wolf Lakeside Lodge, a shorefront resort in Tahoe Vista, and Red Wolf Lodge at Squaw Valley, a ski-in/ski-out resort in Olympic Valley. The League to Save Lake Tahoe will use the donation to continue its local programs, which include promoting restoration, combatting pollution, tackling invasive species, and protecting the shoreline. According to Goodman Collins, “Earth has 307 million lakes, but only one Lake Tahoe. This generous donation from Grand Pacific Resorts will help us as we steward the lake and engage in citizen science to Keep Tahoe Blue for generations to come.” ResorTime,
the rental site for Grand Pacific Resorts, also features the League to
Save Lake Tahoe with the opportunity for it to receive a second donation.
ResorTime hosts a quarterly giving program, beCause
Destination Matters, in which its guests vote for their favorite non-profit
