According to Jesse Herrera, Director of People and Culture, “Our leadership team identified key team members with proven excellence and nominated them for an ARDA Designation. Grand Pacific Resorts has made a commitment to our ‘shining stars’ to nurture their professional growth by helping them learn more about the vacation ownership industry.”

“As Chairman of ARDA’s Education Committee I am well aware of the importance of nurturing our associate’s career development,” said Nigel Lobo, COO. “ We are extremely proud of Lisa, Renee, and Amanda and are fortunate to have them on our leadership team. The awards are a testament to their hard work and professionalism.”

The American Resort Development Association (ARDA) is the Washington D.C.-based professional association representing the vacation ownership and resort development industries. Established in 1969, ARDA has more than 1,000 members ranging from privately held firms to publicly traded companies and international corporations with expertise in shared ownership interests in leisure real estate. The membership also includes timeshare owner associations (HOAs).

ARDA International Foundation (AIF) offers a continuing source of education programs. What began in 1982 as a research tool to keep up with the rapid growth and change of the timeshare industry now has evolved into much more. AIF offers timeshare industry members multiple opportunities for professional growth.

Alicia Solomon, AIF Manager for ARDA says “It is exceptional for an ARDA member company to be so involved with associate development. Grand Pacific Resorts has been an active member for nearly three decades and continues to employ some of the industry’s best and brightest. These three women are already contributing greatly to their corporate community and the industry as a whole.”
