Wines Join Silver Medalist at Horseshoe Bend Vineyard and Winery

Red Jester wine, a spicy and earthy wine with berry and oak tones, has
won a Silver Medal at the 2015 Finger Lakes International Wine Competition.
On April 24 to 26, Red Jester will be uncorked and feted during a Release
Celebration for his two new friends: White Jester, a white wine blend,
and Black Jester, a red wine blend. Along with the Jester line of wines,
Kong’s Thong, a super fruit-forward wine, has returned. Join the winery
to celebrate and sample the new wines and other Horseshoe Bend favorites

Located
on a hilltop in Springfield, KY, with stunning panoramic views of the surrounding
valley, Horseshoe Bend Vineyard and Winery is known for its European-styles
wines – all dry and meant to be paired deliciously with food. A large deck
offers the perfect seating for relaxing with a bottle of Horseshoe Bend
wine and soaking in the breathtaking vista.
Tastings
are offered at the winery for a small fee. Cheese trays are available for
purchase. On Fridays there is grilled cheese and, on Saturdays, pulled
pork. “Dine on the Deck” events occur regularly throughout the season,

Horseshoe
Bend Vineyard and Winery is open daily 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Thursday
and 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, April through September. The hours
are 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Saturday March through October. It is
open 1-5 p.m. Sunday year-round.
