At the helm of the oldest, largest, and most respected regional alliance in the United States for more than 13 years Liz has successfully built a program of work that has been acknowledged as outstanding by the Board of Directors and industry alike. She has actively delivered value to the member states through Ultimate Ad Challenge and elevated regional efforts for International Marketing using research for market intelligence. Liz has executed well developed strategies in mature and emerging markets such as Canada, China, France, Italy and Brazil, while providing metrics for ROI on all programs.

Her direction for strategies that provide member value in Domestic & International marketing, advertising and event activations, along with partnership activities with Brand USA serve to ensure tourism as a vital and dynamic element in the region’s economic development. She revitalized Domestic Showcase which celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2012, all while steadfastly guiding the financial strength with dramatic changes in the marketplace; globalization, sustainability threats, legislative and governmental barriers, resource scarcities and the uncertain financial climate.

In 2017, Liz was named as Director-at-Large to the U.S. Travel Association’s Board of Directors to serve a three-year term. She is a guest lecturer for tourism classes at Georgia State University's Cecil B. Day School of Hospitality Administration and is currently working to support the US Civil Rights Trail. Most recently Liz was selected to the 2017 “Who’s Who of Atlanta Hospitality” by Atlanta Business Chronicle.

Her background includes serving as Executive Vice President of Group Leaders of America, Inc. From 1989 to 2001, she led the sales team in the Hospitality Services Division at Cendant Corporation, now Wyndham Worldwide, world's largest franchisor of lodging brands, rental car companies, and transaction processing services.

Her accomplishments include committee seats on the U.S. Travel Association’s Marketing Committee, Scholarship Award Committee, and Membership Committee. She held leadership positions of the National Tour Association and American Bus Association.

Liz is a graduate of Ohio University in Organizational Communications/Marketing. She resides in Atlanta with her husband, John, and their three children.
