Lazydays RV Earns RVBusiness Top 50 Dealer Award
and Arthur J. Decio Humanitarian Award
|
The RV Authority Will Be Honored at the 2017 RVDA
International Convention/Expo in November

Tampa, FL – October 2017 / Newsmaker Alert / Lazydays, The RV Authority and world’s largest RV dealership, was recently named a Top 50 Dealer by RVBusiness magazine for the fourth consecutive year. The judging panel also chose Lazydays RV as the recipient of the 2017 Arthur J. Decio Humanitarian Award presented by Ally Financial Inc.

To determine the pool of eligible entries, RVBusiness receives entries from RV dealers nationwide. The judges then select the top 50 dealers that exemplify excellence in business operations, customer service and professionalism. This year, Lazydays RV was also distinguished with a special award for outstanding community charity outreach for the efforts of the Lazydays Employee Foundation and other company-sponsored, civic-minded initiatives.

“We are honored that Lazydays has once again been selected to be one of America’s best RV dealerships,” said Bill Murnane, Chairman and CEO of Lazydays RV. “Our company and employees remain committed to delivering world-class customer service and driving positive change in our local communities. “Family” is one of our core values and our family extends far beyond our immediate organization and deep into our local communities. We are so proud of the Lazydays team who contribute to our Foundation to benefit our community.”

Since 2005, the Lazydays Employee Foundation—which is funded by payroll contributions from Lazydays employees—has donated over $1.7 million to help needy and at-risk children across Tampa Bay, Tucson and central Colorado. The Foundation’s projects include establishing the Lazydays House at A Kid’s Place emergency foster-care shelter, creating the Tampa Homeless Youth Outreach program and co-founding The Ybor Youth Clinic, which provides medical care to homeless children and teens. Lazydays RV also assists local nonprofits through corporate sponsorships, such as its support of The Joshua House foster home in Tampa and the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk.

“These are the kinds of heartfelt initiatives for which some RV industry companies like Lazydays have become known over the years,” said Sherm Goldenberg, publisher of Elkhart, Ind.-based RV Business and Woodall’s Campground Management magazines. “And when you go to bat for troubled youth on a regular basis as Lazydays has done, it certainly sets an example for the rest of us about how best to maintain the dignity of those who, through no fault of their own, have fallen through the cracks of society.”

RVBusiness will confer its Top 50 Dealer Awards and the Decio Humanitarian Award on November 8, 2017, during a special reception at the RV Dealers Association (RVDA) International Convention and Expo in Las Vegas.
