“Mazatlán
itself, has been going through a renaissance of late,” said Marco Garcia
Castro, Secretary of Tourism for the state. “With all of the improvements
made, including enhancements to our 4-mile long oceanfront promenade and
bike path, a restored Centro Histórico that preserves our French,
Italian and German architectural roots, new parks and city centers, delicious
local and international cuisine and much more, it was a logical next step
to redesign our website to showcase all that is new and better in and around
Mazatlán,” he added.
Mazatlán
continues to receive top honors from independent authorities on international
travel, living and investing earning accolades from Forbes, TripAdvisor,
American Express Travel and most recently from U.S. News & World
Report naming it one of the top 10 places in the world to retire overseas.
