| Rockin’ the Point Continues 2016 Season March 12 with Free Billy Joel Tribute Band at Coconut Point | The opening band will perform from 5:30-6:45 pm, followed by a greeting from emcee Jeff Butera from ABC-7 who will introduce Gabby Lansden, an Estero High School student, who will sing the national anthem. At 7:00 pm, the Billy Joel tribute band will take the stage. Event sponsors include, Val Ward Cadillac, Johnsonville, Naples Daily News, McQuaid & Company Real Estate Services, Coconut Point Mall, Florida Weekly, Spotlight Magazine, and TAG-American Gastro Pub. With the support of these sponsors and vendors, McQuaid & Company is able provide this event free to the public, attracting people of all ages, and ideal for a family night out. Most people bring their own chairs, while others dance up front by the stage. Food and drink can be purchased from event vendors, as well as from local restaurants at Coconut Point Mall. Coolers and outside food or drinks are not permitted within the event area. Rockin’ the Point is held at the center of Fashion Drive with stage set up between Teavana and Brighton Collectibles. Suggested parking for the event is located on the west parking lot area in front of Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, Blue Water Bistro, Bice, and TAG-American Gastro Pub. The remaining concert for the series is Aerosmith on April 9 with the event scheduled from 5:30-9:00 pm.
