Lake
Placid, NY – June 2017 / Newsmaker Alert / At a presentation Tuesday
afternoon (June 13), AAA Northway Director of Marketing, Public and Government
Affairs Eric Stigberg presented Ed and Lisa Weibrecht, owners of Mirror
Lake Inn Resort and Spa in Lake Placid, N.Y., and the entire staff,
with the prestigious AAA Four Diamond Award of Excellence for the 33rd
year in a row.

 The
time-honored property dates back to the 1920s. It is the second longest
running AAA Four Diamond property in the entire state, behind only The
Carlyle in Manhattan.
In
addition, The View Restaurant, the flagship of the resort’s three dining
options, collected the coveted Four Diamond achievement for the 10th straight
year and remains Lake Placid’s only Four Diamond restaurant.
The
presentations followed the Inn’s bi-annual staff meeting, and serves as
a lead-in to the upcoming summer season.
“Thank
you for being here and for doing what you do for the Mirror Lake Inn,”
said Ed Weibrecht before the nearly 150 employees who gathered in the Wikoff
Room. “The people in this room are the most important and special people
to us. You make the place go.”
Weibrecht
added that the top priorities for travelers in selecting accommodations
are “cleanliness, friendliness and service. Our staff delivers at the highest
of levels in all three of those areas.”
