Scents to Host Meet the Artists Event Jan. 27

Scents, the Naples retail store dedicated to the interactive creation
of personalized scented products, has announced a Meet The Artist event
on Wednesday, January 27 from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. at 457 Bayfront Place near
downtown Naples. Hometown potter Sara Wilson and artists Lori Sparkly Franklin
and Teresa Cox Kolar will be special guests for the afternoon.

Scents. “Research reveals that they would rather enjoy experiences that
enhance their lives instead of buying more ‘stuff.’ This is precisely what
we are all about at Myxn Scents: the experience. While our customers love
the creations they make using the sense of smell, they know that it is
equally fun to embrace other senses with a different type of experience
by meeting artists who specialize in other mediums. Our upcoming event
will provide the ideal opportunity to meet three extremely creative women.”

Scents is a uniquely interactive and seriously fun shopping experience
dedicated to the creation of personally scented products. Guests create
their own fragrance by selecting from combinations of over 480 scents.
“Myxologists” then mix the chosen scents into a variety of lotions and
oils, bed and body mists, shampoos, shower and shaving gels, and even pet
shampoos. Myxn Scents tracks each individual recipe, enabling customers
to create other products in their own customized scent, in person or via
their website. After guests create their own custom scents they frequently
invite friends to return to the store to share again in the unique interactive
component of Myxn Scents. The store also offers private parties for groups
of four or more, along with a wide selection of unique gift products and
candles.
The
store is open from 11 am to 5 pm Monday through Saturday and from 11 am
