NACS: Learning About Leadership

NACS offers four executive education opportunities
for convenience store leaders.
|
Alexandria, VA – May 2018 / Newsmaker Alert / This summer and fall, convenience store leaders have four opportunities to sharpen their leadership skills during a National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS) executive education experience. Here’s a sneak peek at these upcoming leadership programs.

Mid- to senior-level retail executives will hone their skills to the next level at the NACS Executive Leadership Program at Cornell. Held August 5-9 at the Dyson School at Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y., the program provides participants with the leadership skills needed to successfully respond to the challenges of a competitive marketplace.

The NACS Financial Leadership Program at Wharton will give finance executives the right strategies for growing their companies. Held July 15-20 at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, this intense and exclusive program goes beyond the classroom to provide attendees with concrete ways to positively impact their organizations’ bottom lines.

At the NACS Marketing Leadership Program at Kellogg, mid-to senior-level marketing executives will gain knowledge on analytics, branding and consumer experiences. Held July 22-27 at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill., this program will help attendees identify areas of growth potential, build their brands and discover new ways to influence customer choices.

During the NACS Women’s Leadership Program at Yale, women executives will develop critical skills, such as strategic perspective and decision making, as they hone their leadership style and improve their executive presence. Held November 11-16 at the Yale School of Management at Yale University in New Haven, Conn., the program is geared toward women executives, district and regional managers, and women identified by their management as high-potential leaders.
