Syracuse, NY – May 2014 / Newsmaker Alert / There’s no need to pinch yourself and you won’t need a million dollars to see Barenaked Ladies play at the Great New York State Fair. The band behind hits such as “Pinch Me” and “If I Had A Million Dollars” will perform at 8:00 p.m. on opening night, Thursday, August 21, at Chevy Court, Troy Waffner, Acting State Fair Director, announced Thursday (May 22).

It’s the beginning of a stellar lineup of music on all of our stages and I want to encourage every New Yorker to make time to visit the state’s largest free music festival at your State Fair this year,” said Waffner.
