Two-time PGA Tour winner becomes first left-hander with video content
|
Jacksonville, FL – February 2018 / Newsmaker Alert / Secret Golf, one of golf’s fastest-growing digital media instruction companies, continued to expand it’s network of video content from Tour professionals, recently launching the Player Channel for Brian Harman, currently sitting 21st in the Official World Golf Ranking.

Harman, who does everything right-handed except play golf, is a two-time winner on the PGA TOUR and he becomes the first southpaw on the Team Secret Golf staff. A three-time All-America selection from the University of Georgia, Harman joined the PGA TOUR in 2012 and has victories at both the 2014 John Deere Classic and 2017 Wells Fargo Championship. He also finished T2 at last year’s U.S. Open at Erin Hills, battling eventual-winner Brooks Koepka for most of the championship.

“I’m really excited about my Player Channel and think golf fans will get quite a bit out of what I have to say, because I play left-handed, I think that will serve as an added bonus for all of our subscribers that swing the club from the opposite side of the ball,” Harman said. “I really believe in Steve’s idea with Secret Golf. We are way ahead of anyone else with digital video instruction and it’s cool to be a part of something that can be enjoyable and helpful to the avid golfer.”

Secret Golf is the first multi-channel company to offer personalized digital lessons from current and former TOUR professionals. Harman becomes the 14th member of Team Secret Golf to have his own instructional content on the website.

“With Brian’s win last year and almost a U.S. Open trophy as well, he has quickly become a crowd favorite for his toughness and incredible consistency. He is regarded on TOUR as a short game master and there is so much to hear and learn on his Player Channel,” said Steve Elkington, Secret Golf Co-Founder and 10-time PGA TOUR winner. “Brian was taught by a noted instructor, Jack Lumpkin, who is an old school coach. He has amazing focus and clarity of his swing as well as his overall game and I think people are really going to like his channel.”

Subscribers to Secret Golf will receive unlimited coaching on proper grip, set up, backswing, down-swing, short game, putting and strategy. TOUR teachers include World Golf Hall of Fame member Jackie Burke, PGA Champion Jason Dufner, Ryan Palmer and Pat Perez, to name a few. Team Secret Golf’s LPGA staff features two-time LPGA Tour Player of the Year Stacy Lewis, U.S. Open winner Brittany Lang, Gaby Lopez and Gerina Piller.

Patton Kizzire, the current FedEx Cup leader and already a two-time winner on the PGA TOUR in 2017-18, will be the next member of Team Secret Golf to debut his Player Channel near the end of February.
