Send Me On Vacation (SMOV) Hosts “Bet On” Poker Night:

Whether or not they are attending the ARDA convention, the timeshare public is invited to kick off this year’s ARDA conference with a seat at a poker game, a spin at the Roulette Wheel or a game of Blackjack! “It’s a wonderful chance to catch up with everyone you know or have always hoped to meet in the timeshare industry,” says SMOV President Cathy Backus. “This year, seventeen top timeshare and travel companies will be hosting the Saturday night event.”

Vida Vacations, Westgate Resorts, Festiva Resorts, Impact International, SFX, Karisma Hotels & Resorts, Advantage Travel, Unlimited Vacation Club, Travel To Go, Vaycaystay Connect, Generator Systems, Condominium Travel Club, Global Connections, Track Results, Casablanca Express, Resort Trades and Perspectives have opened their hearts and their wallets to host the event and send women with breast cancer on vacation to heal the scars that cancer has left behind.

Westgate Resorts is currently hosting a survivor and her two young boys at their dude ranch and at an Orlando property. This is the second year they have shown their support for Send me On Vacation. They report it has been a great experience for everyone at Westgate from the top-level executives to the resort staff.

“The industry has come through a tough few years but it pales by comparison to what these survivors face when they fight cancer,” says Backus. “Our goal is to send 100 women on empowerment vacations in 2015 to change their life.”

Go “all in” and mark your calendar for Saturday, April 11th, 2015 at the World Center Marriott for the second annual poker tournament and be a part of sending a survivor packing for their dream vacation!

Resort company operators wishing to be a vacation sponsor for a breast cancer survivor donate a one-week stay in a resort, plus transportation and spending money. In lieu of the one-week resort accommodation and, companies may sponsor a vacation for a survivor by donating cash. Vacation sponsors are recognized for their contribution in a number of ways, including appearing with their sponsored survivor in a timeshare industry publication.
