Stormont, President, announced that Stormont Hospitality Group’s strengths
in the marketplace will extend further in 2018 with the addition of industry

As Principal and Executive Vice President, Cooper brings back to Stormont his unique execution and program management capabilities, including oversight of complex projects from planning through completion, as well as programming, architectural and design management, and comprehensive construction execution. An array of new projects with Stormont Hospitality Group’s leadership is set to get started this year, each of which will benefit from more than three decades of industry leadership strengths and more than $2 billion in projects successfully envisioned, designed, managed and launched. “We are poised to add significantly to our lineup of major projects around the country,” Stormont said. “I’m pleased that John is able to re-join us as we gear up for intriguing and complex new undertakings across several regions.” Expertise in the intricacies of comprehensive hotel, resort and conference center development, including extensive relationships throughout the hotel industry and substantial financial and public-private partnership expertise, are essential components of Stormont Hospitality’s strengths. “Driving higher value for projects from a true owner-operator perspective, from inception through opening, has been a gratifying experience over the past several decades,” Stormont said. “During the months and years ahead, we’re pleased to be able to supercharge that approach, uniting around additional partnerships and projects that each will offer terrific destination appeal as well as one-of-a-kind visitor and guest experiences.” Stormont Hospitality Group’s hotel development expertise stems from a unique perspective as longtime developers, owners and operators. From initial vision through design, engineering and financial structuring, the group’s foundation provides clients with an acute understanding of hotels as investment vehicles, bringing added value to their projects. Regardless of the complexity of the financial, legal or multi-tiered organizational structures involved, Stormont has proven successful at launching hotel and resort development ventures of virtually every kind. “The year ahead will prove to be another milestone in our journey of collaborating successfully among multiple partners with a shared vision for high quality and seamless execution from inception to opening,” Stormont said. “Building on our history and a lot of hard-earned know-how, we cannot be more excited about our current alignment, capabilities and readiness to provide our partners with exceptional development services.” About
