Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism Appoints
Joy Barlogie as Tourism Development Manager

Little Rock, AR & Atlanta, GA – July 2018 / Newsmaker Alert / Joy Barlogie has been named tourism development manager by the Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism. Barlogie previously served as account supervisor at CJRW, working primarily on the Arkansas Tourism account.

In her new role, she will be responsible for the development and expansion of tourism within the state of Arkansas and establishing contacts and rapport with hospitality-related businesses and with local, state and federal agencies involved in the tourism industry. Barlogie will also identify possible funding sources for tourism projects, administer three tourism grant programs and will consult with communities and organizations on behalf of the department.

During her time on the department’s account at CJRW, Barlogie was involved with creative development, media planning, public relations and digital and online marketing development. She also coordinated annual strategic planning sessions for the agency and developed the department’s annual marketing plans to continue to promote the state of Arkansas to national and international audiences.
