South USA’s 6th Annual Travel South USA International Showcase will
be held in historic Charleston, South Carolina from Monday, November 27
– Wednesday, November 29, 2017.

Each
year Travel South USA invites qualified international tour operators and
U.S. receptive tour operators to Travel
South USA International Showcase to meet with State tourism representatives
from Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri,
North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia as well
as a host of travel suppliers, including city CVBs, hotels, attractions,
restaurants and shopping destinations for three days of sit down one-on-one
appointments to discuss how each can better attract and service their customers
with a collective goal of generating more international visitors to the
Travel South USA region.
“International
visitation is critically important to South Carolina’s $20.2 billion tourism
economy, and one of the greatest potential areas for growth for our state,”
said Duane Parrish, Director of the South Carolina Department of Parks,
Recreation & Tourism. “Hosting the 2017 Travel South International
Showcase gives South Carolina direct exposure to 119 International Tour
Operators from 19 countries across the globe and the opportunity to generate
greater international awareness of the wealth of diverse visitor experiences
found in the southern U.S. through seven Super Fam Tours.”
The
Charleston Area Convention and
Visitors Bureau has welcomed all international operators and registered
delegates the opportunity to participate on one of eleven city tours designed
to showcase Charleston in the brightest light, showcasing the city’s rich
history, culture, cuisine and natural beauty.

marketplace sessions, networking and great entertainment, the 450+ attendees
will enjoy an enticing variety of city tours that were curated specifically
