Verona, NY – February 2016 / Newsmaker Alert / The Oneida Nation, which is always spotlighting Central New York as a beautiful tourist destination, is celebrating the beauty of the region by featuring guest submitted photos in the Turning Stone and Yellow Brick Road Casino 2016 calendars. The Nation’s two casino properties hosted a social media contest for guests to submit their own pictures that illustrate the picturesque towns and countryside of Central New York.

Hundreds of remarkable photos were submitted and the 24 winners – 12 photos for Turning Stone’s calendar and 12 for Yellow Brick Road’s calendar – perfectly captured a unique and especially beautiful aspect of Central New York. The winning photos feature snow-covered bridges and icy waterfalls, bright, colorful flowers and summer sunsets, and stunning fall foliage. Covering a large area of the Central New York region, the winning photos showcase the beauty of Chittenango, Syracuse, Skaneateles, Little Falls, Pulaski, the Adirondack Mountains and more.
