2nd annual Oktoberfest and the return of Upstate Tavern’s popular beer dinners

Verona, NY – September 2015 / Newsmaker Alert / Turning Stone Resort Casino is celebrating fall with a variety of exiting events, including Oktoberfest and a New England-themed beer dinner.

On Wednesday, September 30, Upstate Tavern’s popular Beer Dinner series returns. Guests will enjoy a New England-themed five-course meal with special beer pairings from a variety of New England breweries. The menu includes IPL Clam Chowder with Mass Rising IPA (Jack Abby Brewing – Framingham, MA), Lobster Roll paired with Lady of the Woods BA Sour (Cisco Brewing – Nantucket, MA) and Mini Boston Cream “Pie” with Imperial Stout Trooper – Double Stout (New England Brewing Company – Woodbridge, CT) . This exclusive five-course dinner and beer offering is $50 per person. Reservations are required. Guests can call 800-771-7711 to make their reservations.

The resort’s fall food and beer celebration continues on Saturday, October 3 with Turning Stone’s 2nd annual Oktoberfest, a one-day-only beer tasting event in the Event Center. From 3pm – 7pm, guests can taste an assortment of popular and seasonal beers from breweries including Bells, Dogfish Head, Ommegang, Southern Tier, and more. Live authentic German Oktoberfest music will be provided by The Krazy Fireman and German food will be available to purchase, including brats, Wiener schnitzel, chowder, pretzels and sauerbraten. Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door. Turning Stone is also offering a $10 designated driver ticket.
