This is the third consecutive year Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto was honored. In addition, Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto was nominated in two other categories: “Mexico’s Leading Beach Resort,” which it won in 2015 and 2016, as well as “Mexico’s Leading Family Resort” and “Mexico & Central America’s Leading Resort 2016.”

For 2017, Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto has recently been nominated in the category of World’s Leading Resort 2017. Voting for this award is open now through Monday, Oct. 30. Building on the resort’s success and reputation, the Travel Weekly Magellan Awards also singled out the resort as part of its recently announced 2017 honors. Up against finalists from around the world, Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto earned silver honors in the category, “Hospitality – Overall Beach/Resort Hotel.” The Magellan Awards honor the best in travel, and Travel Weekly will feature all the winners in its October issue.

We are very proud of all we have created at our property, and the recognition we receive only encourages us to keep improving.”

The two new awards were announced only one month after Villa del Palmar Beach Resort’s signature restaurant, Danzante Fine Dining, earned Wine Spectator magazine’s prestigious “Award of Excellence.”
