10th Annual Bluegrass Music Kickoff

KY – December 2014 / Newsmaker Alert / Four-time IBMA male vocalist
of the year Russell Moore and IIIRD Tyme Out headline the 10th Annual Bluegrass
Music Kickoff in Lebanon, Ky
on January 23 and 24, 2015. Sharing the spotlight during this festival
of bluegrass music will be five-time IBMA female vocalist of the year Dale
Ann Bradley and the Dale Ann Bradley Band with Steve Gulley and Phil Leadbetter.
They
will be joined by other bluegrass entertainers, including banjo champ Gary
“Biscuit” Davis, as this central Kentucky town celebrates in the state
that gave birth to the bluegrass music genre. See the schedule of events

Friday
evening’s Bluegrass Show features Gary “Biscuit” Davis and Flat Lonesome
Band. Also playing will be the Honeysuckle String Band, Dove Creek, Flat
Lick Express, Dix River Crossing and Bluegrass Express.

Saturday’s
Bluegrass Show features an open jam session with Davis and music from IIIrd
Tyme Out, Dale Anne Bradley Band, Flatt Lonesome Band and the Moron Brothers.
An optional Dinner Show will also take place on Saturday evening.

Lebanon

Music Kickoff. Tour Maker’s Mark Distillery, the only operating distillery
in America to be designated a National Historic Landmark. Sample moonshine
with the master distiller at Limestone Branch Distillery where episodes
of Discovery Channel’s “Moonshiners” have been filmed. Watch handmade barrels

Geographically
located in the center of the state, Lebanon
is the “Heart of the Bourbon Belt,” the epicenter of barrel and bourbon
