April 12, 18, 19: Alligator Egg Hunt. 10am & 1pm. See a live baby alligator and create an alligator egg basket and search for candy-filled “alligator eggs.” Recommended for ages 3-10; must be accompanied by an adult. April 17: Spring Egg-Venture At Halyburton Park. 9am-12noon. Join the ‘eggcitement’ at Halyburton Park. Programs include Animal Eggs & Nests, Egglympics, Storytime, and Spring Nature Hike. April: 18: Easter Egg Hunt & Carnival At Battleship Park. 10am-2pm. April 19-20: Masonboro Island Easter Boat Trip & Egg Hunt. 10am & 12pm (Sat.) & 10am, 12pm, 2pm, 4pm (Sun.). Cruise to Masonboro Island (one of the largest marine sanctuary islands in SE N.C.) and hunt for eggs. Adults must accompany children. Admission charge; advance reservations. April 20: Theatrenow Easter Jazz Brunch. 12pm. World-class pianist/vocalist Grenoldo Frazier was recently inducted into Wilmington’s Walk of Fame.
