Yellow
Brick Road Casino Partners with Local Brewery
and
Reveals New Menu at Heart and Courage Saloon
|
Chittenango,
NY – February 2016 / Newsmaker Alert / Supporting Central New York
has been a key pillar for Yellow Brick
Road Casino in Chittenango since its opening last summer. The Wizard
of Oz-themed casino located in the Village of Chittenango is building upon
that support, partnering with the Canastota-based Erie Canal Brewing Company
to offer their Amber Waves of Grain brew to guests. The brew, an amber
ale with a deep caramel flavor cut by earthy Mt. Hood hops, will be offered
at the Heart and
Courage Saloon.
Erie
Canal Brewing Company takes a unique approach to brewing, locally sourcing
every ingredient. Owner Sam Lanzafame expanded from a home-grown operation,
growing the hops in his own backyard, to a full-fledged brewery, with several
craft beers distributed across the state. The Amber Waves of Grain brew
will be the February Beer of the Month at Yellow Brick Road Casino, allowing
guests to experience the brewery’s unparalleled craftsmanship for a only
$2.50.
In
addition to introducing Amber Waves of Grain, the Heart and Courage Saloon
is launching a new menu on Monday, February 8, which will include a variety
of delicious sandwich options. The Lion’s Roar, an Italian-inspired sandwich
featuring meats and melted cheese topped with a tomato garlic butter, is
a feast fit for two, while classics like the Turkey Sub, Grilled Chicken
Sandwich and the Chicken Philly are perfectly portioned for one.
Guests
in the mood for food beyond sandwiches will find a perfect match at Yellow
Brick Road’s other dining venues. Dorothy’s Farmhouse, a quaint comfort-food
haven, will be offering a Fish Fry every Friday through February. Guests
can enjoy a plate of beer-battered haddock, fries and coleslaw for just
$11 all day. Other delicious options include the exciting Slice of the
Day at Wicked Good Pizza, a rotating schedule of creative and delicious
slice options, ranging from Buffalo Chicken Wing to Ham & Cheese, with
each day’s unique special posted to Yellow Brick Road’s Twitter account,
@YBRCasino.
With
exciting weekend entertainment at the Heart and Courage Saloon, drink specials
at the Winged Monkey, and Las Vegas style gaming, there’s no shortage of
things to do this winter at Yellow Brick Road Casino.
