Quin Jumps 5 Spots in Its Second Year to Obtain Coveted Award From Savvy Travelers
|
New York, NY – November 2015 / Newsmaker Alert / The Quin, New York’s quintessential lifestyle hotel, was named as the # 5 ranked hotel in New York City in the coveted Condé Nast Traveler’s Readers’ Choice Awards 2015. This year, more than 128,000 readers voted for their favorite travel experiences in the annual Readers’ Choice Survey. Located at the corner of 57th Street and Sixth Avenue, the Quin has firmly established itself as the hotel of choice for savvy travelers in less than two years since its opening. In its second year, the hotel jumped five spots from its # 10 ranking in 2014, a testament to the impeccable service and superb amenities that have become a Quin hallmark.

Holly Breuche, General Manager of the Quin, commented, “The most gratifying accolade for any hotel is that bestowed by the guests themselves. That’s why we’re so honored to see the Quin embraced by readers of Condé Nast Traveler.” Breuche continued, “Time is truly the ultimate luxury and by focusing on the guest experience – on every detail and request intuitively and comprehensively – we ensure that our guests can focus on fully enjoying their own most important moments. Whether they’re coming to New York to commemorate a milestone, to achieve a business-oriented goal, or simply to see a new city, we are committed to creating more ‘time’ in each day for each guest. Ultimately, when guests have the time to luxuriate in these extra moments together because everything else feels so effortless, that leaves a lasting impression.”

The Quin’s second year of operation marked the completion of the hotel’s final phase, with the spring 2015 unveiling of the hotel’s capstone level – the 17th floor, which includes five spectacular terrace rooms and suites and a luxurious penthouse suite. Each of the new rooms and suites features an expansive private terrace, while the extraordinary 3,400 square foot, 3 bedroom penthouse offers panoramic views stretching from One World Trade Center to Central Park and private terraces totaling more than 1,840 square feet.

2015 also saw the expansion of the hotel’s acclaimed Quin Arts program, curated by DK Johnston, and the launch of the Quin Music Series. The Quin Arts program boasted artist-in-residence and salon receptions for artists including Wulf Treu, Amanda Marie, SP 38 and ASVP, among others, while the Quin Music Series launched with a performance from improvisational jazz vocalist, VINX.

The Quin also forged partnerships and special programs in 2015 with Lincoln Center, Youth America Grand Prix, and Kerber’s Farm, while establishing the first-ever hotel partnership with acclaimed event designer and lifestyle expert Jung Lee. The Wayfarer restaurant at the Quin continued to earn accolades of its own, and provides 24/7 room service to hotel guests.
